BikeKiwi is a NZ trademarked brand and is for members to get fit and socialise in a variety of Local BikeKiwi Groups as below.

It is based in Rangiora, New Zealand.

We look to over a wide range of tracks in the local area and as far afield as Christchurch.

As a member of the North Canterbury Cycling Club, we are also able to ride a variety of tracks in the Ashley Forest area, which has great views over the North Canterbury area.


BIkeKiwi (Sunday Group)

This Group has been running for 5+ years. Medium pace Group so reasonable fitness required...we do not leave anyone behind. Start at 9.30am at Monteiths, Rangiora and usually coffee stop half way round, finish at latest 12.30pm after refreshments at Monteiths, Rangiora

Bike n Beer (Friday evening)

Casual pace out to suitable hostillery and back, usually around up to 45 minute ride either way riding. Start 4.15pm, finish around 6.45pm.

These operate only periodically Spring/Summer/Early Autumn

Bike n Brunch (Wednesdays Over Lunch Period)...ON HOLD CURRENTLY

Casual pace up to 2 hours total ride including lunch stop. Start 11am, finish around 1pm

BikeKiwi 30 @ 3

30km, same course each Friday or Saturday (choice will be subject to weather).

Start at 3pm from the roundabout at East Belt/Kippenberger. Moderate pace, stop briefly at Waikuku Dairy for refreshments.

Finish at either Monteiths or other local pub for a beer or other refreshment.

Ride is around 2 hours in total including stop.

BikeKiwi 'Meet in the Middle'

Designed for Christchurch Riders to bike out on the new track to Kaiapoi and Rangiora Riders to bike to Kaiapoi on the Passchendale track and meet up at the Five Peaks.

BikeKiwi originated in Rangiora nearly 5 years ago and started with a couple of riders from a list posted at Monteiths pub. This has developed since then into multiple local Groups and overseen by Stuart & David locally in Rangiora

Ebikers and Mountain Bikers are welcome and age range is generally 50 + split with a fairly even split of genders and all are welcome at any age/gender.
